And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Mt 28,20

The victorious church and the fulfillment of the Great Commission

We believe that the Holy Spirit is raising up a victorious and overcoming church throughout the earth at this time. A church full of power and vision to fulfill the Great Commission entrusted to it: To preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to the ends of the earth, to heal the sick, to set the captives free, and to make disciples. This church is the bridal church of Jesus Christ, preparing itself full of purity and beauty for the return of its Bridegroom.

"And to present her to himself (Jesus Christ) as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless." Eph 5:27

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Mt 28, 19-20

When one hears the term mission today, there are very different ideas of what is meant by it. People often think primarily of humanitarian projects or diaconal aid. And of course these are important areas of missionary work. But if we look at the missionary journeys of the apostle Paul in the Bible, for example, we see that mission is much more than that.

In Paul's missionary work, we see that he was primarily carrying on the works of Jesus - just as Jesus had previously told his disciples, whom he himself sent out with the Great Commission:

"Truly, truly, I say to you: He who believes in me will also do the works that I do, and will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father." John 14:12

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teach them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age! Amen." Mt 28:18-20

So Paul went on his missionary journeys, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God, preaching and teaching the Word, and delivering people from demonic bondages and from sickness. Wherever he went, new churches were established and existing churches were strengthened and equipped. In addition, through his ministry, Christians were instructed in the Word of God and brought to spiritual maturity. New ministries sprang up and young servants found guidance and were set free in their calling and put to work in the ministry. In short, the wonderful kingdom of God was spreading.

This biblical definition of mission listed in the vision is our heartbeat. We live devoted to being used by God for the expansion of His kingdom through the proclamation of the gospel. In addition, we serve in equipping and strengthening the Body of Christ through preaching, teaching, prayer, and ministry in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Further, we support humanitarian projects, emerging churches and ministries, and also serve in mentoring and advising aspiring leaders.

In this way, we share in the fulfillment of Jesus' Great Commission and in the equipping & strengthening of His wonderful end-time church.
